The Pillars of Sabah community art project is in the centre of Kota Kinabalu. It is built on the site of the old Lands and Surveys Office building. The Atkinson Clock Tower, which was built in 1905, and the former General Post Office building, which was built in 1918 and used to house the Government Printing Department and now houses the Sabah Tourism Board, are both heritage listed. So is the building that used to be the Lands and Surveys Office and later housed the Social Welfare Department. Despite surviving the Allied bombing of Jesselton (now named Kota Kinabalu) during World War II, however, the building was destroyed by fire on 31 December 1992. Since then, nothing has been done to fix up the space, so it has become a haven for street artists.

This mural was painted by Kenji Chai and his team. It was finished on mid April 2022. This mural was located in front of Suria Sabah Hypermall, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. His work is a masterpiece since there are 2 murals of his creation in Kota Kinabalu city. This mural was a collaboration between Kenji Chai and Hotlink, as a part of Hotlink's campaign to highlight the #BikinSampaiJadi spirit.

This an art from an international Street artist, Kenji Chai. The reason of him and his team carried this project is it encapsulate what Toojou Hotel stands for; to be a connecting platform between Sabah and the world. To them, these murals are more than just paintings, they are the interpretation of Borneo through the eyes of the artists. Each piece tells a story, a tribute to our beloved Sabah.
